How subscriptions and auto charging widgets work
Subscriptions are automatically renewed on one-year intervals and the products will be automatically activated by Communitech after each successful renewal. If you choose to purchase a membership with a monthly subscription, you are required to pay 12 installments for the first year, and if you renew then you must pay 12 installments for each renewal year. You may not modify or cancel your subscriptions at any time other than at the end of a current one-year commitment
For example, if you started a monthly subscription, then the system will automatically charge your credit card each month without the need to place the order by yourself!
Can I pause or cancel a subscription?
Yes, of course. You can pause or cancel a subscription any time you want in the customer portal, as seen in the screenshot below. But note that pausing or cancelling a subscription will not change your obligation to pay for the remainder of the full one-year commitment you originally subscribed for.
You can access your subscriptions by logging into your Communitech Marketplace account.
What happens if the payment can't be processed?
If a payment can’t be processed or your subscription can't be renewed because a payment can't be processed, you will receive an email with a link where you can safely update your payment method. If you do not maintain up-to-date payment information and we are unable to process a required payment, we reserve the right to take action to enforce your payment obligations.
